PetroSA Mossel Bay (formally Mossgas) has outsourced it's entire IT infrastructure and services to SBS (Siemens Business Services) Though SBS is strong on business systems and IT infrastructure, they felt that the fast amount of technical applications at PetroSA was not in their domain of expertise. They chose to partner with MES Africa to take over the maintenance and support of all the technical applications (MES) on site.
MES Africa, via SBS, is responsible for systems such as:
Plant Information
- Laboratory
- Security
- Planning and scheduling
We provide daily maintenance, support and system enhancements as well as training services to the PetroSA customer base. This is an ongoing project.
